What You Need To Bring

WHAT DO YOU NEED?
- Call the office at (219) 865-2705 to make an appointment for Township Assistance.
- Pick up an application for township assistance at the Trustee's office or download the application and checklist.

3. Complete the Township Assistance Application.
4. Gather the necessary paperwork from the township checklist.
5. Apply for Food Stamps with FSSA at (800) 403-0864.
6. Apply for Energy Assistance through Lake County Community Services at (219)663-0627.
DONATIONS
How Can you help Others
Donations are accepted at the Trustee's Office. Donations of non-perishable food, personal care items, household items, paper goods, and clothing are greatly appreciated. Gift cards for clothing, grocery and gas are also accepted. Items donated to the Trustee's office will be given to the applicants of St. John Township.
